They could only obediently stand by Kronos and watch the battle unfold like spectators.
Now that the fight was over, it was finally time for them to act.
They began clearing the battlefield and moving the remaining belongings of the Donquixote Family from the ruined palace back onto the ship.
While these things weren't particularly valuable to Kronos, they were still spoils of war.
And with Assac and the others idle for so long, Kronos simply let them take care of it.
Besides, Assac and the rest certainly didn't mind how much treasure there was!
"Captain Kronos, what exactly are we waiting for here?"
Assac, who had already looted the entire palace, jumped off the ship and asked curiously.
Kronos, reclining comfortably in a lounge chair with a piece of roast meat in hand, continued eating while waiting quietly.
However, when he heard Assac's question, Kronos paused in thought.
What if those people don't come at all?
If that happens, then waiting here is pointless.
In that case, he would have to find someone else to replace the throne—someone to become the new ruler of this country.
Just as Kronos was hesitating and thinking over his next move, a large group of people led by Violet appeared at the ruins of the former palace.
Sensing their arrival, Kronos lifted his head slightly, a flicker of interest in his eyes.
Then he said to Assac,
"Well... the ones we've been waiting for have arrived."
Moments later, the crowd accompanying Violet knelt down in unison before Kronos, bowing respectfully toward him amidst the rubble.
And at that moment, Kronos' prestige surged dramatically!

The citizens of Dressrosa, having just learned the truth, were told everything by Violet.
They now knew that the ones responsible for turning humans into toys and wiping their existence from memory—the real culprits—were none other than the Donquixote Family.
And now that they were gone—eliminated by the Kamui Pirates—the people no longer feared them.
Their fear had transformed into gratitude and respect.
After all, if the Kamui Pirates hadn't appeared…
They would have never known the truth.
They would have remained in ignorance.
And those who had been turned into toys would never have been set free.
