The boy swallowed, and so did many teenagers watching the Moon Valkyrie's POV. All humor was gone, replaced by incredible tension. For a moment, thanks to Aria's masterful playfulness and ability to entertain kids, thanks to her being a big sister who even acted as a mother for some years due to Julia's absence, the viewers forgot that Valhalla's Sinners were doing something very strange!
Aria's POV drifted after Nyx, past the pristine hall and into the corridor that led back to the others. The screams had stopped. And somehow, that made it worse.
The camera moved around the corner.
The many adults who elected to watch Aria's POV instead, finding the others' too much to bear, had their breath suddenly catch.
