(3rd POV)

Ever since Cain took to the skies, he felt someone was watching him, but it was so subtle that he had to concentrate to sense it and couldn't identify the observer or pinpoint their location.

That could mean several things.

The individual watching them either possessed an uncanny ability to mask their presence, manipulate both physical and non-physical senses, or even bend the fabric of space-time itself.

Either way, it wasn't good; whoever was keeping an eye on them clearly had less than friendly intentions.

Sensing his unease, Yakumo glanced over at him with a look of concern. "Are you alright?"

"We're being watched," he replied after a moment of silence, and Yakumo frowned.

"Any idea who or what they look like?"

"I normally would know, but whoever is watching has an ability that makes it difficult to identify or locate them," he explained, and Yakumo's frown deepened even more. "All I know is that they are hostile and have been observing us for a while now."

"Should we head back then?"

Cain nodded firmly. "Yeah, we have everything we need."

He turned sharply and began flying back to base. However, before he could get very far, a projectile struck him directly in the chest. Cain's eyes widened in shock as he hadn't sensed or seen it coming at all.

A moment later, the projectile exploded, blowing off a significant portion of his head and upper body.

Yakumo gasped in horror at the sight and screamed.

"CAIN—" But before she could say anything more, she felt a sharp pain pierce her chest. Looking down, she saw a gaping hole where her chest was.

As she looked up, the light in her eyes began to fade. She fell from Cain and plummeted toward the ground. Meanwhile, Cain, within mere seconds, completely regenerated before crashing, and moments later, the perverted chief landed a few meters away.

Cain sat up, groaning slightly as he clutched his head, involuntarily reverting to his human form. Once the pain subsided, he approached Yakumo's lifeless body.

He stared at her for a few moments, his blood boiling with rage he hadn't felt in decades.

Calming himself, Cain extended his right arm, transforming it into the appearance of his sixth form. He then cut open his palm, allowing copious amounts of his blood to spill out.

Before his blood could touch the ground, Cain positioned his hand above Yakumo. Initially, nothing happened when his blood landed on her.

However, just seconds later, a green aura enveloped her body, and all her injuries healed almost instantly.

Shortly after, Cain could hear the steady thump of Yakumo's heartbeat, see her chest rising and falling, and hear her quiet yet steady breathing. Her eyes opened, and the first thing she saw was Cain in his human form.

Yakumo's beautiful features contorted into confusion as she struggled to remember why she was on the ground.

Then, her eyes widened as the memories flooded back.

She had died...

Swallowing thickly, a wave of intense emotions washed over her, but she quickly suppressed them. She sat up and looked at Cain, offering a weak smile that didn't quite reach her eyes.

"Thanks for the revive..."

"No problem," Cain nodded, helping her up. His expression then turned serious as he sensed two familiar presences approaching. "Get behind me." Yakumo looked at him, confused, but complied without arguing.

Turning around, Cain focused ahead and recognized two figures drawing closer. His eyes narrowed further.

The two appeared to be in their early thirties and shared some of Cain's physical traits, but that was where the similarities ended. The one on the right had grey hair and orange eyes, while the one on the left had orange hair and grey eyes. They were shorter and less muscular than Cain.

The one on the right was One-Tap, and the one on the left was Snatch. They were his older twin brothers.

As the twins approached, One-Tap spoke first. "You know that power of yours is bullshit. Since when could you turn into a fucking dragon and revive the dead?" He sounded incredulous and somewhat annoyed.

Cain smirked. "What can I say? I'm full of surprises."

"No kidding," Snatch scoffed. "Should we be worried about you trying to steal our shtick next?" He joked, making Cain chuckle lightly.

"Who knows?" But Cain's amusement vanished, replaced by a serious expression. "So how many of you are in Japan?"

The twins exchanged glances before looking back at him.

"Besides us, there's Fenrir, Jormungandr, Wukong, and Buddha," One-Tap answered, causing Cain to grimace at the mention of Wukong inwardly.

"I'm surprised he didn't send more," Cain said after a brief silence.

"Father would've sent more, but things back in Mexico have gotten worse."

Cain raised an eyebrow. "Worse than before? That's concerning. Let me guess: did the gangs and cartels acquire new heavy hitters, or did multiple high-ranking gates appear at once?"

"Both," Snatch confirmed, surprising Cain. "Some bitch known as La-Diabla—" he rolled his eyes at the mention of the name. "—took control of all the local gangs and most of the cartels. They're giving the government and us more trouble than ever."

"And to make matters worse, twenty X-rank gates appeared," One-Tap added, earning a look of disbelief from Yakumo and a wince from Cain. "So yeah, fun," he said sarcastically.

"Well, shit. It looks like Eden and the Mexican government have their work cut out for them." Cain would be lying if he said he felt bad for them; they fully deserved the predicament they were in.

The only ones he sympathized with were the civilians. They didn't deserve to be caught in that mess.

"Understatement of the year, little brother," Snatch chuckled. "Well... enough of that..." His expression hardened. "So are we going to do this the easy way?"

"Or the hard way?" One-Tap finished.

Cain's expression turned cold. "You already know the answer to that."

The twins exchanged a knowing look before aiming their weapons at him. Cain remained unfazed while Yakumo visibly tensed, acutely aware that she was no match for them.

"Are you sure you can fight us and protect her at the same time?" One-Tap mocked, referring to Yakumo.

"Who says I'll be protecting her?" Cain countered before slamming his hand on the ground.

This action created a fifty-meter barrier around them, surprising both Yakumo and his brothers. He quickly turned, grabbed Yakumo by the shoulders, and threw her outside the barrier.

Landing gracefully on her feet, Yakumo exclaimed, "What the fuck, Cain!?"

Cain looked at her. "Go get the others." He turned to face his brothers. "I'll keep these two busy."

"But—"

"Go now," Cain cut her off.

Yakumo hesitated for a moment but ultimately complied.

"You better not die," she said before flying off.

"No promises."

Cain looked at his brothers with a cold, calculating gaze; his demeanor shifted dramatically, and a black aura with a red hue enveloped his body. He was no longer a father, a friend, a lover, or even a man.

He had morphed into a stone-cold killing machine, utterly incapable of remorse, hesitation, or restraint, instilling fear deep in the souls of both humans and monsters alike.

Sensing this drastic change in him, the twins felt a shiver down their spines, and cold sweat trickled down their brows. They gulped inwardly. There were only a handful of things that truly scared them: their father, 666, Wukong, and, of course, Cain himself, who terrified them the most.

The twins were among the fortunate few who hadn't needed to chase after Cain when he was on the run, and they were grateful for that. They had heard the horror stories of what Cain had done to their brothers who had dared to try bringing him back to Eden.

Instead of simply killing them, as a normal person might do, Cain had inflicted some of the most horrific and painful torture methods known to man. He didn't just break them physically but also psychologically and spiritually.

The atrocities committed against their brothers were so heinous that when ordered to pursue Cain again, they immediately refused, fully aware of the dire consequences that could follow.

Naturally, the twins felt a wave of nervousness wash over them when tasked with apprehending Cain alongside Wukong, Fenrir, Jormungandr, and Buddha. It certainly didn't help that One-Tap had killed their youngest brother's ally.

Sensing the fear radiating off them, Cain's lips twisted into a cold, wicked smile that lacked any hint of humor.

"You two really fucked up by not bringing the others..." Cain said, his voice deep and distorted. He began to approach them slowly, deliberately. "However, your biggest fuckup was hurting one of my women," he snarled. "I'll make sure your deaths are slow and painfully drawn out. And don't even think about trying to use your abilities; the barrier we're in is suppressing them." The twins' eyes widened in horror.

In terms of physical and combat ability, they were ranked among the weakest of their brothers. Their true strength lay in their powers and teamwork.

One-Tap's ability, Overkill, allowed him to ignore durability and low- to mid-level regeneration; however, it consumed a significant amount of energy and was ineffective against targets with high regeneration. Thus, he used it sparingly.

Snatch's ability lets him copy, steal, bestow, or weaken the powers of others within a two-mile radius. Its effectiveness varied based on the target's willpower. Against a weak-willed person, he could completely steal or perfectly copy their abilities. But against a strong-willed individual, he could only manage to weaken them.

Their impressive abilities, combined with extraordinary teamwork, had enabled them to defeat opponents significantly more powerful than themselves, with notable victories over Jormungandr and Buddha, who were considered the strongest among their siblings.

However, the barrier around them drastically lowered their chances of defeating Cain, though it wasn't entirely impossible. While they might be weaker than their youngest brother, the gap wasn't so vast that it would lead to a one-sided fight. As long as they fought tactically and denied Cain any room to breathe, they believed they could win.

With this plan in mind, the twins exchanged determined glances, nodded at one another, and focused intently on Cain. One-Tap aimed his rifle and fired, while Snatch pulled out a pair of daggers and rushed at him.

Cain met Snatch halfway, smoothly evading every projectile sent his way. When they were just a few feet apart, he drew a knife and a handgun. Cain blocked the dagger in Snatch's right hand with his knife and shot his brother in the left hand, causing him to wince and drop his other dagger.

Then, he shot two rounds into Snatch's skull and delivered a devastating spin kick to his temple, sending him crashing into the barrier. Cain's eyes then turned to One-Tap, and he charged at him.

Knowing he would be at a severe disadvantage in close-quarters combat, One-Tap kept his distance, leaping back a dozen meters whenever Cain got too close while continuing to fire energy beams in a desperate attempt to hold him off.

Snatch, recovering from his wounds, stood up and locked eyes with One-Tap for a brief moment before nodding. He pulled a modified RPK from a seal on his arm and began firing.

One-Tap switched his assault rifle for an LC45, a powerful shoulder-fired energy cannon known for taking down X-rank monsters in just one or two shots.

It could fire five highly condensed energy beams that would obliterate anything at the subatomic level within a five-meter radius before requiring a four-second recharge.

The gray-haired man aimed the deadly energy cannon at Cain and fired. Cain's eyes widened in surprise upon seeing One-Tap pull out the LC45, and he barely had time to react as the energy shot toward him at terrifying speed. Cain jumped several meters to the right, preparing to fire at One-Tap.

However, before he could aim, his hand exploded into bloody pieces. Most of his face and upper body were obliterated, exposing bones, muscles, and internal organs.

Despite this, Cain managed to surround himself with a force field before taking any further damage. Seeing the force field growing around Cain, One-Tap and Snatch clicked their tongues in annoyance and concentrated their fire on one spot. The force field began to crack within seconds, moments away from shattering.

But before it could break, Cain jumped out of the force field, fully healed and wielding an LAIML249 in each hand, aiming them at the two.

Over a dozen missiles soared toward them, and One-Tap quickly switched to another weapon, shooting down each missile in rapid succession while Snatch continued to fire at Cain.

However, the sheer number of explosive projectiles soon overwhelmed them, forcing them to move and evade frantically.

Eventually, Cain closed the distance with Snatch, who aimed his LMG at him. Before Snatch could fire, Cain twirled, kicked the weapon from his hand, and proceeded to fuck his older brother up.

Cain slashed at the tendons in Snatch's arms and legs, leaving him momentarily defenseless.

Then, he stabbed his knife into Snatch's upper abdomen and pulled it down, slicing through flesh like butter, causing copious amounts of blood to spill onto the ground and his internal organs to spill out.

Snatch let out a blood-curdling scream as he felt himself being sliced open, but his screams didn't last long. Cain pulled out another knife and plunged it into his throat. The only sounds that escaped Snatch now were gurgles and choking on his blood.

The only male ADC member twisted his knife to the right and yanked it out, causing Snatch's head to fall to the left, hanging just below his chest, supported only by a thin piece of flesh that connected it to his neck.

Cain's lips curled into a twisted smile at the sight of his handiwork, and he nodded in satisfaction.

Before he could continue, he spun around and delivered a powerful kick to One-Tap's abdomen.

However, his older brother was quick on his feet; he caught Cain's right leg, lifted him effortlessly over his shoulder, and slammed him down onto the hard ground.

As soon as Cain's back hit the ground, he shot his left foot out, connecting with Snatch's kneecap, which brought him crashing down to his knee.

Seizing the opportunity, Cain yanked his right leg free from Snatch's grip and retaliated by kicking him squarely in the face with both feet, sending Snatch flying several feet back.

Not giving his brother a moment to recover, Cain swiftly got back on his feet, dashed over to Snatch, lifted him effortlessly over his shoulder, and slammed him back onto the ground.

Just as he attempted to pick up his brother again, Snatch made a desperate move, grabbing Cain's arm, yanking him down, and ramming his skull into Cain's nose with a sickening crack, shattering it and causing blood to spurt out.

Snatch then threw him to the ground, climbed on top of Cain, and pulled out a knife, holding it in a reverse grip.

He brought the knife down toward Cain's skull, but in a flash, Cain grabbed Snatch's wrist, yanked him down, and delivered a devastating punch to his throat, shattering his windpipe before forcefully pushing him off.

Despite the extreme pain coursing through him, Snatch managed to ram his knee into Cain's jaw just as Cain tried to get on top of him.

He then pulled out an SHRD-X and shot his younger brother point-blank in the face, causing Cain's head to explode like a balloon, showering blood, bone, and brain matter everywhere. Snatch didn't stop there. He fired two more shots into Cain, obliterating most of his upper body. Then he kicked what remained of Cain several meters away.

Within mere seconds, Cain fully regenerated his upper body and head, quickly getting back to his feet. However, as soon as he stood up, One-Tap's fist collided with the right side of his face.

Following that, Snatch's fist struck the left side of his jaw, and a moment later, he delivered a devastating uppercut, causing Cain's head to jerk back violently, making him stumble.

One-Tap then grabbed Cain's head and rammed his knee into his face. The grey-haired man yanked him back by his dark hair and unleashed a series of five quick sucker punches before pushing him toward Snatch.

Snatch twirled around and delivered a roundhouse kick to Cain's face, which spun him around and broke his jaw, though it miraculously healed almost instantly. However, it broke again when One-Tap followed suit with a roundhouse kick.

For nearly ten seconds, the twins took turns beating their youngest brother before Cain caught both of their kicks mid-air, glaring at them with a look that sent chills down their spines.

"My turn."

Cain kicked One-Tap hard in the knee, applying enough force to shatter it completely, which made One-Tap collapse to the ground while screaming in pure agony.

Next, he turned his attention to Snatch, delivering a kick to the groin so hard that he heard both of his testicles pop. Understandably, Snatch let out a cry, experiencing one of the most horrific pains a man can endure.

His cries abruptly ended when Cain followed up with a powerful kick to his jaw, dislocating it and sending it flying through the air, exposing his upper teeth, tongue, and the inside of his throat. The same foot that struck Snatch's jaw then slammed into One-Tap's nose, shattering it.

Cain grabbed both of them by their skulls and smashed their faces together before letting them drop to the ground like ragdolls. He pulled out his sword, swinging it menacingly toward their necks, intent on decapitating his older brothers in one swift motion.

However, just as he was about to strike, he spun around to deflect an energy beam that pierced through the air, destroying his barrier in an instant. Cain's eyes narrowed, recognizing two familiar figures approaching: Fenrir and Jormungandr.

Fenrir stood tall with long, coal-black hair tipped with white, which was tied back in a ponytail, cold amber eyes, a medium-sized beard, and a skin tone slightly darker than Cain's. He towered at an imposing seven feet eight inches, with an extremely muscular build that complemented his immense height perfectly. His neck was thick, his traps were massive, and his shoulders were wide enough for two people to sit on each one easily. His deltoids were full and perfectly round, and his arms were larger than an average man's head. His chest was broad and powerful, his abdominal muscles solid as steel, and his legs looked capable of pushing up a large building with ease.

Fenrir was the largest of Cain's brothers, second only to Berserk in sheer size.

Jormungandr, on the other hand, had short black hair with a striking green tint and a well-groomed goatee. His bright emerald eyes stood out against his lighter skin tone, which was a stark contrast to Fenrir's. He was eight inches shorter than Fenrir but shared a similarly muscular build, though it was on a smaller scale.

Fenrir looked at One-Tap and Snatch, shaking his head in disappointment and frustration.

"Fucking idiots. They never listen," he muttered under his breath.

They were supposed to wait until Cain was alone to ambush him. However, thanks to One-Tap and Snatch, they had lost the crucial element of surprise.

"I told you we should've put them on a leash," Jormungandr joked, earning a sharp glare from Fenrir.

"Shut the fuck up, Scales," Fenrir snapped, narrowing his eyes at Cain, ignoring Jormungandr's complaints about his nickname. "It's been a while."

"Indeed it has," Cain replied, nodding. He then grabbed One-Tap and Snatch by their hair and tossed them toward Fenrir. "How have things been? Are you still Dad's number one dick rider?" he taunted, eliciting a glare from Wolf and a stifled laugh from Jormungandr.

"I see you still have that mouth of yours. Great," Fenrir snarled. "I thought you'd finally mature. What a disappointment."

"And I see you still have a rod stuck up your ass," Cain retorted, shaking his head in mock disappointment. "Honestly, man, you should try getting laid sometime. God knows you need it."

Fenrir looked ready to explode, but he took a deep breath, calming himself before speaking again. "Enough! You've had your fun; now it's time to act like an adult and take responsibility for once in your fucking life," he said, putting his rifle away. "I'm giving you one last chance to come over here peacefully before I come over there and beat you within an inch of your pathetic, worthless life."

"Don't be difficult, little brother. Just come with us and let us be done with all this needless violence," Jormungandr reasoned with Cain, but his words went into one ear and out the other.

Cain raised an eyebrow. "We've been playing this game of cat and mouse for twenty-five years. You really think I'm going to stop playing now?"

Fenrir growled in annoyance, while Serpent, One-Tap, and Snatch grimaced at their youngest brother's comment.

"I was hoping you'd say that," Fenrir snarled as he and Serpent began to transform.

And what did they transform into?

Fenrir turned into a gigantic werewolf—a fifteen-meter-tall black beast built for overwhelming strength, devastating power, blinding speed, and unmatched maneuverability, all protected by a thick layer of fur. His limbs were long and muscular, ending in razor-sharp claws capable of tearing apart high-ranking monsters with ease.

Jormungandr transformed into an equally massive white humanoid reptile, a meter shorter than Fenrir but no less formidable. Its head resembled a serpent with two horns, adorned with frills on each side, large fangs, and razor-sharp teeth. Thick, armored scales protected its body, and it featured an eight-meter tail adorned with spikes at the end.

Meanwhile, One-Tap and Snatch pulled out their ARs, aiming them at their younger brother, smiling smugly. Cain narrowed his eyes, calculating his odds against all four siblings. The odds weren't in his favor. Once their abilities were neutralized, One-Tap and Snatch posed little threat; they were merely annoying.

However, with Fenrir and Jormungandr transformed, he would need to rely on his dragon form. With the barrier destroyed, he would also have to contend with the twins' annoying abilities.

Cain would have set up another barrier, but he knew Fenrir or Jormungandr would destroy it, so he didn't bother. Creating barriers was time-consuming and resource-intensive, and he wasn't about to waste them without a significant advantage.

Thus, he would have to confront his brothers head-on.

The first ones he'd target were One-Tap and Snatch. Without their support weakening him, his odds of winning would improve—though not significantly. Regardless of the approach, winning this encounter would be extremely difficult, if not suicidal. However, he had overcome worse odds before, and this time would be no different.

With that in mind, Cain transformed into his Dragon Phoenix form and unleashed a massive torrent of fire toward Fenrir and Jormungandr. Reacting quickly, Jormungandr released a tidal wave of water, while Fenrir inhaled deeply and exhaled a powerful blast of ice.

When Jormungandr's water and Fenrir's ice collided with Cain's fire, it generated an immense amount of steam that filled the air with a thick mist. Fenrir quickly dissipated the steam with a gust of wind.

However, before it completely cleared, Cain emerged from the steam and struck Fenrir and Jormungandr right in the face—Fenrir received a punch, while Cain's tail hit Jormungandr.

The impact sent them both flying backward, bringing One-Tap and Snatch into Cain's line of sight.

One-Tap and Snatch's eyes widened in horror as they aimed their weapons and began firing at Cain, desperate to stop him. During the attack, Snatch weakened Cain's powers and regeneration.

Unfortunately for them, even with these weaknesses, Cain's regeneration proved too powerful.

Cain regarded One-Tap and Snatch with mild amusement before swiftly closing the distance between them. Before either could react, he wrapped his hands around their torsos. The twins struggled to break free, but it was futile; Cain's grip was absolute.

He began to squeeze, causing their faces to turn red and then purple. Their bones crackled like wood in a fire before fracturing and piercing their internal organs, which were on the brink of bursting due to the immense pressure. Blood poured from their orifices, and moments later, their organs began to emerge, either from their mouths or their backs.

To intensify the torment, Cain's hands became scorching hot, reaching temperatures capable of melting tungsten within seconds.

Their skin sizzled and popped grotesquely, while the blood seeping from their orifices burned like acid. Their eyes burst from their sockets, and all their hair vanished.

It was a sight so grotesque that it would cause even the most hardened individuals to gag and vomit until nothing but bile remained.

Yet, witnessing their horrific state paled in comparison to the twins' suffering. They were enduring the worst pain imaginable—an agony that truly defied description. The twins' regenerative healing factors worked overtime to keep them alive, but it was all in vain. Cain's heat was much greater than their regeneration.

Seeing his older brothers in such agonizing pain brought a satisfied smile to Cain's face, and he wished he could prolong their suffering indefinitely. However, Fenrir and Jormungandr were rapidly approaching, so he delivered one last, powerful squeeze before tossing One-Tap and Snatch aside like a used condom.

He wasn't concerned about them interfering again anytime soon, as he had severely weakened their regenerative abilities by inflicting more damage than they could endure, compounded by Voidification.

The likelihood of their dying without treatment within an hour was over ninety percent, and even if they somehow survived, their healing factors would take months to recover fully.

As soon as Cain discarded the twins, he moved left to evade Fenrir's tackle. He then spun around and caught Jormungandr's wrist, just inches away from piercing his right eye.

Cain twisted Jormungandr's wrist and aimed a kick at his sternum. Jormungandr dodged to the right, grabbed Cain's leg, lifted him high, and slammed him to the ground.

Jormungandr then lifted off the ground and threw Cain into the air. Fenrir appeared out of nowhere and tackled him mid-flight. As they crashed to the ground, Cain moved faster than Fenrir could react, stabbing his claws into Fenrir's face, eliciting a roar of agony. Cain tore downwards, ripping through his brother's flesh like butter.

Before he could inflict further damage, Fenrir picked Cain up and punched him in the face several times before throwing him into the air. As Cain soared, Fenrir and Jormungandr opened their mouths wide, unleashing a massive blast of compacted ice and water.

Cain countered by sending a torrent of fire at the blast, along with several homing energy beams racing at great speed. Fenrir and Jormungandr, seeing the beams approach, wisely cast force fields for protection.

To their surprise, the closest energy beam pierced through the force field and struck Fenrir in the right shoulder. The moment the beam hit, the right side of his body was obliterated, causing the giant werewolf to roar in agony.

Recognizing the ineffectiveness of the force field, Jormungandr dispelled it and began to evade the energy beams as best he could.

Recovering from the loss of his right side, Fenrir went into an unrestrained rage and let out a thunderous howl. His entire right side regenerated in an instant, and his eyes glowed red. As several energy beams soared toward him, he charged forward.

He easily outmaneuvered the beams and leaped at Cain, who was still in the air. His speed was so great that it appeared he teleported—one moment on the ground, the next just a meter away from Cain.

Before Cain could react, Fenrir tackled him, and they rapidly descended. As they fell, the brothers exchanged brutal blows. Fenrir sank his claws deep into Cain's torso, yanking back to tear off scales and exposing raw, bloody flesh.

Cain retaliated by seizing Fenrir by the throat and ripping away the flesh, revealing the insides of his brother's neck.

Just as he was about to grab Fenrir's insides, Fenrir seized his face and bit down on the right side. Cain snarled in pain and anger, wrapping his arms around Fenrir tightly and igniting in flames.

Fenrir struggled to break free from Cain's grip as he felt himself engulfed in fire, but Cain's hold was far too strong. With no other option, Fenrir rapidly increased his size from fifteen to twenty-five meters.

The sudden change weakened Cain's grip, allowing Fenrir to escape. Once free, Fenrir grabbed Cain's arms, ripped them off, and tossed them aside. Before he could act further, both brothers crashed to the ground, creating a massive crater.

When they hit the ground, Fenrir landed a few meters from Cain. Before he could rise, Cain was already beside him, delivering a kick to his face that sent the twenty-five-meter werewolf staggering. Cain then stabbed his claws into Fenrir's shoulders and lifted him, slamming him back down.

Before Cain could take further action, a condensed beam of water struck him, sending him flying back to the ground. Quickly recovering, Cain blocked a kick from Jormungandr. He then grabbed Jormungandr's leg and stabbed his claws into his inner thigh, slicing through flesh until he reached the knee.

The dark-haired man then pulled his claws free, stabbed Jormungandr in the groin, and twisted his wrist so his claws aimed upward. As he moved up, he violently yanked his hand out, spilling Jormungandr's internal organs.

As Cain prepared to continue his relentless attack, Fenrir suddenly appeared beside him, seizing his arm and then grabbing him by the throat.

Reacting swiftly, Cain broke free of Fenrir's grip and struck him several times with his claws, slashing his face twice and his torso six times before jamming both fists through Fenrir's sternum.

Jormungandr then appeared behind Cain, placing one hand on his shoulder and one on his head, biting down on the right side of Cain's neck. Cain grunted in pain and withdrew his claws from Fenrir.

The Latino grabbed Jormungandr by the back of his head and punched him in the nose until he released his grip. He then spun around, preparing to stab his claws into Jormungandr's skull.

However, before he could do so, Fenrir yanked him back by his wings and violently ripped them off. After discarding Cain's wings, Fenrir punched a hole through the center of his chest. Once Jormungandr recovered from the repeated blows to his nose, he glared at Cain.

"Hold him down," he snarled.

Following orders, Fenrir withdrew his arm from Cain's torso, grabbed his arms, and pinned them behind his back. He then cast a binding spell, and a moment later, a rope made of pure energy wrapped tightly around Cain's torso. As soon as Cain was restrained, Jormungandr seized his jaws and began to pry them open.

Cain struggled against the bonds, but they were proving to be far too difficult to break. In a flash, he de-transformed, freeing himself from the restraints. As soon as he landed on the ground, he put distance between himself and his brothers. Once he was far enough away, he returned to his Dragon Phoenix form.

Fenrir and Jormungandr turned to Cain, narrowing their eyes.

"So you can instantaneously de-transform and retransform? What a load of bullshit," Jormungandr said, sounding somewhat amused but mostly irritated and envious.

Unlike Cain, who could transform in an instant, Jormungandr and his siblings needed anywhere from two to five seconds to change forms. It might not seem like much, but during a battle, every second mattered. So, knowing that Cain could de- and retransform instantly pissed him off.

Cain smirked at Jormungandr's comment. "Are we feeling a bit jealous, Jormund? Good. You should be," he replied, which drew a growl from Jormungandr.

"Are you sure we can't just kill him?" Jormungandr asked Fenrir.

Fenrir sighed, nodding in agreement. "Unfortunately, Father wants him alive."

"Tch. Of course, he does. I never understood what he saw in Cain. He's overconfident, disrespectful, rebellious, never serious, and a complete manwhore—" As Jormungandr ranted, his anger boiled over, and his killing intent began to leak out.

Unconsciously, he started to grow in size, enveloped by a dark green aura. In just moments, he stood at the same height as Fenrir, his appearance shifting to a more reptilian form. His horns elongated, his frills became more pronounced, his scales thickened, and his body gained significant muscle mass.

Cain raised an eyebrow, clearly amused by his older brother's jealousy. He expected Fenrir to be the one ranting about how unfair it all was.

However, it appeared Fenrir wasn't the only daddy's boy.

End.
