A long, passionate kiss entwined them together, and she actually reached out to unbutton his shirt, her small hands eagerly exploring, igniting flames all around. But after a little while, she pushed him away.
"What's wrong?" Asher Land chuckled as he observed her, his collar slightly open.
"You say we won't do it, then we won't do it; you want to do it and we do it? Well, I'm not doing it." Sophie Smith rose from him with a sense of 'dignity,' then plopped down on the floor.
The throbbing pain in her head suggested the alcohol was kicking in, and Asher Land looked at her, half amused and half annoyed.
She fussed around by herself for a while, then leaned against the sofa and drifted off to sleep.
Asher Land sighed, took off his jacket, covered her with it, and then picked her up.
Eva Miller, with keen eyes, noticed a bloodstain on Asher Land's white shirt.
