"Sophie, you've really got some nerve, locking your own man outside?" Outside the door, it was Asher Land's voice, gritting with anger.
Sophie Smith's mouth twitched, looking awkwardly at Oliver Johnson.
"Oh, it's President Land," Oliver Johnson chuckled lightly, "Are you always this playful?"
Playful?
Sophie forced a bitter smile, how was she being playful? In Asher Land's eyes, this was probably downright rebellious.
"Mr. Johnson, my woman refuses to open the door for me. You're a fair man, please open the door for me," Asher Land's voice came again from outside after a short while.
Oliver Johnson shrugged at her and went to open the door.
Sophie almost instinctively ran to the master bedroom and shut the door. She admitted, she was hiding from him.
However, this action seemed all too telling to Asher Land. If she had no guilty conscience, why was she unwilling to see him?
"President Land, …"
"Mr. Johnson, you don't need to say anything."
