Asher Land's mouth twitched, his face lined with exasperation as he looked at Sophie Smith ordering him around.
He followed her 'instructions' one by one.
Sophie turned her big eyes, as if trying to recall how many times she owed him the words "dear".
Perhaps she spoke too quickly earlier, so she couldn't remember how many times she actually said it.
"Dear..."
"That's enough, Sophie." Asher shook his head helplessly, "Three more times, I'll save them for later."
Sophie didn't say anything more; saving them was fine by her.
"Asher, can you pour me another glass of milk?"

After breakfast, Sophie was heading to the hospital again. Although she hired two caregivers for her father, she still couldn't put her mind at ease.
"Where are you going later? I'll take you there." Asher saw her getting up and stopped her.
"Aren't you going to work? No need to bother." The truth was, Christopher Smith didn't like Asher Land. If he saw her with Asher, his condition might worsen.
