"Misunderstanding?" Asher Land chuckled lightly, "How could there be? My dear is just chatting with an acquaintance. If I were to get jealous over that, wouldn't I be a bit petty?"
Sophie Smith was dumbfounded. Did those words really come out of Asher Land's mouth?
It's rare for him to be so 'understanding', 'considerate'!
"Seems I indeed overthought. I'll take my leave now and not disturb President Land and Miss Smith." Oliver Johnson said, a bit disappointed; he thought Asher Land would blow up.
"Yes, Mr. Johnson, you indeed thought too much." Asher Land smiled slightly, saying in good humor.

Sophie Smith secretly let out a sigh of relief.
She got into Asher Land's car, and just when she was about to speak, his voice took the lead.
"What did you talk about with him?"
"Huh?"
"I asked what you talked about with Oliver Johnson?"
"I, I thought you didn't mind. Didn't expect you still cared." Sophie Smith pouted as she spoke.
