"What's wrong? You don't want to eat again?" Asher Land saw her frowning, somewhat puzzled.
"No." In order not to arouse Asher Land's suspicion, she had no choice but to take a few bites. The food felt rather tasteless in her mouth, but even so, she swallowed it down.
She obediently finished the food in front of her, then looked at him with pleading eyes.
"I'm done eating. Can I go to my room?"
He smiled pleasantly, not expecting her to be so compliant today.
"Go ahead." He nodded in agreement.
Sophie Smith felt like she had been granted amnesty and walked upstairs, disappearing from Asher Land's sight.
She quickly ran towards the bathroom, opened the door, and locked it behind her.
"Ugh..."
Her stomach was so fragile that it couldn't digest even a little bit of food.
She was just about to straighten up when a wave of dizziness hit her, and she dry heaved a few more times.
