Robert Williams followed Asher Land all the way into the office.
He turned around to close the door and walked up to Asher Land.
"President Land, attending the Hush Sky meeting today certainly made many feel suffocated," Robert Williams lamented beside him.
Indeed, no one welcomed him, but no one had the ability to kick him out of the meeting room.
"I suspect some small shareholders know Hush Sky won't last long, and soon, they'll sell their shares to you for self-preservation."
Asher Land didn't speak; he just sat leisurely on the sofa with his long legs crossed, casually flipping through a financial magazine.
Last time, Hush Sky ambushed Golden Era, causing a major loss, and this time Golden Era is bound to pay it back. But why does he feel uneasy inside, with a lingering sense of foreboding?
"Assign some more people around Sophie Smith, just in case Hush Sky becomes desperate and considers targeting Sophie," he said, frowning, his face a bit severe.
