This woman, she's got quite some guts. Does she believe that this time he won't just eat her up and make her submit obediently?
"Alright, your uncle will wait for you at the nightclub where we last met. Ha, don't chicken out," Luke Land taunted.
"Just you wait!" Eva Miller hung up the phone and drove to the place Luke had mentioned.
As she was still at the door, a waiter came out to greet her.
"Miss Miller, Second Young Master Land is waiting for you in the private room," the waiter said respectfully.
Private room?
"Is... is he the only one in there?" Eva braced herself. Frankly, she could only rely on her sharp tongue. She didn't have the strength to outmatch him, and if it came down to a real confrontation, she'd be in trouble if there wasn't anyone to call for help.
"Miss Miller, Second Young Master Land only instructed me to bring you up. As for anything else..." The waiter seemed a bit troubled.
