Inside the single apartment.
Sophie Smith just got home from work when she received a call from Julia Brown.
"Sophie, it's terrible, what should I do?" Julia's voice sounded like she was about to cry.
"What's the matter?" Sophie asked while changing out of her high heels into comfortable slippers.
"Sophie, you can scold me to death, I...," Julia's voice was shaking, "I lost Alexander..."
"What?" Sophie's voice involuntarily grew louder, filled with anxiety, "Where are you now? When did Alexander go missing? Did you call the police?"
"I called the police... but they said unless it's been more than twenty-four hours, they won't open a case..."
Sophie's heart was in turmoil, she ran outside in her slippers.
She sprinted all the way downstairs.
She was about to go to the parking lot to get her car when a familiar, steady voice stopped her.
"Where are you going?"
