Sophie Smith didn't know why Asher Land suddenly came to the film set. Deep down, she wasn't at all prepared to face him.
But even if he came, so what?
As long as he shields Irene for one day, she won't forgive him for one day.
"Director, I'm ready. Can we start filming?"
"Huh?" The director chuckled awkwardly, intentionally reminding her, "Don't you have anything to say to President Land?"
"No." She lowered her gaze, put away all emotions, and walked towards the filming site.
Asher Land clenched his fists, his knuckles standing out prominently. Clearly, he was infuriated by her actions.
"Sophie!" he shouted in a low voice. Sophie's steps froze, but she didn't turn back.
With long strides, he reached her in just three steps.
"No filming."
"No filming?" Sophie chuckled lightly, raising her eyes, "I don't know, President Land, what do you mean by no filming?"
She questioned knowingly, deliberately provoking him.
