The phone rang about ten times before Sophie Smith finally picked it up at the last moment.
"Damn, Sophie, you heartless thing, taking so long to answer the phone. Are you with President Land doing that thing again?" Eva Miller said irritably.
"What...?" Sophie sighed softly, walked into the kitchen with the phone, and poured a glass of water. "He's drunk and resting in the room now."
"You capitalist bunch!" Eva couldn't help but complain, "Clearly, you guys are all about indulgence and excess, both in lust and alcohol."

Sophie listened to Eva's lengthy complaints as she carried the water upstairs.
"But seriously, why did you call me?" From Eva's tone, it seemed like there was something off.
"My parents are forcing me to get married."
"Hmm?"
