"You just let her go like that?" Eva Miller seemed puzzled.
"What else do you want me to do?" Her purpose of going to the mall was simply to smooth things over and prevent Irene Morton from alarming Asher Land. Now that Irene sensibly left the mall, should she really follow her out to teach her a lesson?
Besides, giving lessons has never been her forte.
Eva couldn't stop sighing, "Why is Irene so troublesome, like sticky gum you can't get rid of? Oh, quickly tell me, what happened to her? Did she find another man?"
"Eva, don't ask."
Suddenly, what Irene had said lingered in her mind.
She said, "Thanks to all of you, I angered my father to death, got kicked out of Morton Clan Group by my brother and sister-in-law, didn't get a penny, my property and car were repossessed, my bank card frozen..."
For some reason, her heart felt a touch of unease.
After dropping off Eva, it was already evening when she got home, and Asher Land had just returned from the company as well.
