"I'm full, you all take your time and eat." Eva Miller said, pulling out her chair, getting ready to stand up.
Luke Land also put down his chopsticks and bowl.
"You need to go to the hospital for a pregnancy check-up today. If you're done eating, I'll take you."
"There's no need for a check-up." Eva Miller's tone was icy cold, her resistance to Luke Land was evident.
Eva Miller never wanted to be alone with Luke Land in the first place, she'd rather linger at Sophie Smith's side. But eventually, Asher Land's casual remark had 'ushered' her out to sit in the same car with Luke Land.
"Asher Land, isn't what you're doing to Eva quite inappropriate?" Sophie Smith sat at the edge of the sofa, looking somewhat puzzled at Asher Land.
"What's inappropriate about it? Eva Miller can only be my second brother's woman." So no matter how she tried to escape, it was all futile.
