"I don't care anymore. You don't want me to divorce him, but at the very least, I need to live apart from him for now. I'm going back to live with you." Eva Miller finally made a small compromise, but Mother Miller still disagreed.
"Well... your dad and I are going on a trip this month, we won't be home, and if you come back, there's no one to take care of you. We would be very worried." Mother Miller casually found an excuse.
"I can cook for myself and take care of myself."
"That's out of the question! You're already five months along. If something were to happen, what would we do? Luke would never forgive us."
Mother Miller kept mentioning 'Luke' left and right, and Eva Miller really felt as if her ears were getting calloused. Mother Miller kept extolling Luke Land's virtues, and eventually Eva Miller covered her ears. She didn't want to hear a single word of praise about him.
