Eva Miller was in a daze for a long time before coming to her senses.
"Luke Land, what the hell are you doing!"
The butler, noticing the tense atmosphere between the two, hurriedly stepped in to mediate.
"Second Young Master, Young Madam, please both of you take a step back, this..." The butler hadn't finished speaking when Eva Miller turned around, strode upstairs to her room, and slammed the door shut, locking it, staying there for an entire day.
The maids had recently noticed that Eva Miller was behaving extremely unusually and, with nothing better to do, gathered together to discuss it.
"I think if the Young Madam keeps making a fuss, it'd be better for her to divorce our Second Young Master. He used to be such a good-natured person. Ever since the Young Madam came, I doubt he's had a happy day."
"How could he be happy? The Young Madam has such a terrible temper, whoever marries her will have a hard time," another maid chimed in.
