When Luke Land arrived at the hospital, he saw the director and a few other cast members standing at the door of the ward, their faces full of anxiety.
"How is she?" His voice was trembling slightly.
"Well..." The director pondered, momentarily at a loss for words.
"Mr. Land, Miss Miller, she accidentally had a miscarriage." It was Emma Hughes speaking. Emma had never been so close to Luke Land before. Back then, Luke often visited the set to see Eva Miller, and under the pressure of his aura, she could only watch from afar.
"A miscarriage?" Shock filled Luke Land's eyes as he stood rigidly, unable to process it for a moment.
"Mr. Land, Miss Miller's emotions have not been stable lately, and the fall was really severe, so... it couldn't be avoided." The doctor approached, "However, with proper rest and care, there is still a good chance for future pregnancies."
In the future?
