"Luke Land!" Eva Miller's emotions were out of control, "Why haven't you come to see me these days? Do you know, I've lost my child."
"Of course, I know." He paused for a moment, "Didn't you intentionally lose the child?"
Intentionally?
Eva couldn't believe what he said. How could he say that?
"Luke Land, you're such a bastard!" Eva walked over, disregarding everything, like a wild cat, punching and kicking him. She'd had enough, really had enough. It was one thing for the maids to treat her coldly, but now even he was treating her this way.
"Stop it!" He sternly scolded her and pushed her away. Eva lost her footing and almost fell.
"Luke Land, I want a divorce..." She squatted on the floor, crying sorrowfully.
Divorce?
The coldness on his lips became more apparent, "Are you thinking that now that the child is gone, you have nothing to worry about? Divorce me and then you can run to the United States to find Oliver Johnson?"
What was he even saying?
