"I'm waiting for you," Liam Spencer said, starting to cause trouble again.
Maya Spencer took a deep breath, ignored his presence, and continued listening to the call.
"Maya, are you there? Did you fall asleep again?" Ella Turner's voice came through from the other end of the line.
"No! No! The signal was just a bit bad earlier." As soon as Maya finished speaking, someone entered her body.
Immediately, she felt her face turn green with anger, yet she acted as if nothing was wrong, calmly chatting with Ella Turner over the phone.
Ella said, "My brother came back last night; let's get together this evening."
"Great! I haven't seen Ethan Turner in a long time."
As soon as Maya mentioned Ethan Turner's name, someone got jealous and started moving quickly.
Maya took a deep breath and almost cried out, but managed to hold it in at the crucial moment.
After a few more words of idle chat, they hung up the phone.
