Evalian Chapman must have said something, as a gentle smile appeared on Dawn Sutherland's face, but it was like a thorn piercing Daisy Grant's heart.
Daisy forced herself to look away, trying not to focus too much on the interaction between Dawn and Evalian. She walked over to stand by Ariel Morris, smiled softly, and asked, "Ariel, is there anything I can help with?"
Ariel stopped what she was doing, glanced over in Dawn's direction, and said, "Why don't you ask Brother Dawn? I heard him discussing business strategy and operations issues with Arlo earlier. I'm not sure how their discussion went. Maybe you could help since you work at the Grant Clan?"
Daisy hesitated for a moment, then slowly nodded.
She approached Dawn and Evalian, greeting them with a faint smile, "Brother Dawn, with the company opening soon, is there anything I can assist with?" She smiled and nodded towards Evalian.
