Daisy Grant hurriedly rushed downstairs, and in her panic, she missed a step and tumbled down the stairs.....
Meanwhile, upon receiving a text from Dawn Sutherland, Evalian Chapman went upstairs to find Dawn. She inquired at the hotel staff about Dawn's room number. However, upon arriving, she discovered that Dawn's door was not closed, and without thinking much, she went straight in.
As soon as she entered, she stepped on something.
The room was dark, and no lights were on. Evalian casually switched on the room's light and picked up the item under her foot.
"How is there a purple shell here? It's so pretty, I've never seen a purple shell before!" Evalian held the shell in her hand, eyes gleaming with delight. But upon closer inspection, she couldn't help but frown. "This is decorated with a chain, who dropped it? Why is it in Dawn's room?"
While Evalian was still puzzled, on the bed, the glaring light caused the sleeping Dawn to open his eyes.
