Nicole's eyes widened in surprise as she glanced at the furious Jose Floyd, catching a glimpse of Andrea Greenwood's embarrassed expression through the corner of her eye.
"Now I see what it means to be shameless. Isn't even someone's fiancée yet is already flaunting the title to stir up trouble. Does she think my sister Nicole is easy to bully?" Joshua Floyd sneered at Andrea and her mother.
Andrea's body trembled slightly, her eyes misty as she looked at Jose Floyd, "Brother Jose, our engagement was agreed upon by mother and father. My mom is here to discuss our wedding date. How can you say that? Do you know how hurtful you are?"
Andrea's eyes were brimming with tears, her voice was soft and choked, making her seem pitiful.
But Jose Floyd, completely oblivious to her vulnerability, cast a cold glance at her, "I never promised to marry you. How does your being hurt have anything to do with me?"
