Ryan and Finley both had the inherent pride of Arlo Seys and Dawn Sutherland, especially Ryan, who had been used to being the big brother since he was little. His competitive spirit made him refuse to admit defeat, so they both held on until they beat everyone else and then collapsed...
A group of people lay on the ground groaning, while Ryan and Finley supported each other and cast a contemptuous glance at the crowd, both exceedingly proud.
Just then, Iris Seys walked out of the school with her backpack, taking in the scene. Her gaze landed on her brother and Finley, and she clicked her tongue in disapproval, "Wow, brother, and you too, Finley, you two are something else. Getting into a big fight over a girl. Brother, aren't you afraid Dad will kill you?"
Ryan immediately endured the pain and approached Iris, "Iris, you know your brother treats you the best, right? Don't tell Dad, please!"
