"Finley, isn't he your brother? I think he's as nice to you as Ryan is, and in the whole class, he's only nice to you as a girl."
Iris Seys scoffed, "Who told you he's my brother? He's my younger brother! More than three months younger than me...and which eye of yours saw him being nice to me? He's nice to me because he's afraid I'll tattle on him to my godparents."
"Are your godparents Finley's mom and dad?" the female classmate asked.
Iris Seys nodded, "Yeah."
"Don't tell me, you and Finley are childhood sweethearts, otherwise why have godparents? When you're older, you'll call them mom and dad, won't you?"
