"Aren't I here to find you? Just happened to stop by to see Elena too." Ryan Smith said while eating an apple, "I haven't seen our Elena for several months either. Is it wrong to see her?"
He sounded so self-assured.
Daisy Ginger wasn't in the mood to argue with him.
Seeing him show up here already stirred her emotions greatly, but with a child present, she had to suppress her inner feelings to avoid scaring him.
Daisy fixed her gaze on him and asked, "How is he doing now?"
Ryan didn't hide anything from her: "He's awake. Both legs were severely fractured, so he's doing rehab in a private hospital."
Daisy asked, "Can I go see him?"
Ryan nodded: "You can. I came specifically to take you to the United States."
Daisy remembered the messages on her phone that hadn't received any response. Looking at Ryan's face, she asked, "Did something happen to him?"
