The filming in the small fishing village wrapped up quickly, mainly because there weren't that many places that needed to be shot.
They went out to sea, cast some nets, hauled in some fish, went to the tidal flats to dig clams, and cooked all kinds of seafood dishes, and that was pretty much it. As for luxury sea sports like diving or surfing, those didn't fit the tone of a show about changing lives, so they didn't film them.
After they finished shooting in the fishing village, everyone naturally set off in a hurry again for another village.
They'd done a fishing village and a grassland already; this third place was a village deep in the mountains. It was another spot the director, Zhang Huijuan, had carefully handpicked—its scenery was breathtakingly beautiful.
