Zhen Shu was utterly furious about this, but there was nothing she could do. There just wasn't such a thing as copyright in this world, and even in modern times, piracy runs so rampant that the official versions are powerless against it.
Shuangshuang, on the other hand, didn't care at all. Even if those storytellers managed to use the stories she'd told to draw in listeners, they still couldn't steal away her customers.
The customers who followed her were all there for fresh, new stories. Only when Shuangshuang wasn't telling stories would they go listen to those storytellers, mostly to relive the stories Shuangshuang had told before.
So as long as anyone dared to tell stories at the same time as Shuangshuang, no matter how brilliant their tales were, there would only be two or three cats listening.
