At the same time, Shuangshuang shouted loudly to the players around her: "Hurry, she's coming out. You've all taken your meat, now move, don't get seen and bring unnecessary danger down on us!"
The players all chose not to keep fighting; even if they were reluctant, they immediately abandoned the meat they had just gotten and flew quickly toward their respective hiding places. Shuangshuang also flew back to her hiding spot.
The woman came out with her rice bowl, sat down at the dining table, and started eating. She had made braised pork with potatoes. Shuangshuang licked her fingers—the taste was great; the woman's cooking skills were pretty good.
Shaking out the hand she'd burned earlier when grabbing the meat, Shuangshuang said to Chi Qing, Lin Yu, and Li Dongchen, "Let's eat our fill first, then find a place to hang the meat to dry into jerky. That way it won't spoil so fast. It'd be a real waste if we worked so hard to get it and it spoiled after just one meal."
