The two of them stared at each other, falling into a prolonged silence.

Feng Huaimu stood on the balcony in the hazy night, the sheer curtains wrapped around his long legs. The phone clattered to the floor, exceptionally jarring in the night.
Feng Huaimu smiled and took a step toward Xu Haohao, who was startled and quickly stepped back, screaming sharply, "Stop, don't come over."
Feng Huaimu, with his hands behind his back, smiled and said, "Haohao, are you planning to not recognize someone after sleeping with them?"
"It's still early. You should go back to sleep for a while."
Xu Haohao watched Feng Huaimu approach step by step. She kept retreating, her eyes staring straight at him.
With another step back, Xu Haohao fell onto the edge of the bed.
