Jiang Xue put down the empty basket, then looked at the kitchen light that was on, and headed to the kitchen. She knew the elderly were worried about her and probably hadn't eaten yet.
Entering the kitchen, she indeed saw that the dishes were set out, still steaming. Jiang Xue washed her hands and carried the food to the living room.
"Dad, Mom, let's eat." Jiang Xue invited her father-in-law and mother-in-law to eat, while she intended to take Little Reunion and bring him to the room to feed him.
"Xue'er, let me hold the child. You eat first, and after you finish, you can switch with me." Bai Yuhua said as she held the child, not handing him to Jiang Xue.
Jiang Xue appreciated Bai Yuhua's kindness. So, she didn't stand on ceremony, sat down, and started eating right away.
She did, however, speed up her eating. After finishing her meal and putting down the bowls and chopsticks, she took Little Reunion and brought him back to the room.
