Not long after falling asleep, a strange smell wafted from outside the room, like something burning.
Summer Sutton was sleeping drowsily, thinking it was a dream, and didn't pay attention.
But soon enough, the smell grew stronger.
Summer had always been a light sleeper, and she immediately woke up.
Her eyes opened, and she sprang up from the bed. When she pulled open the door to look outside, the corridor was already filled with thick smoke.
The hotel is on fire!
The hotel where Summer Sutton and Ariella Sawyer were staying was arranged by the filming crew to save costs on shooting the advertisement. The hotel was quite ordinary, with substandard facilities, and many of the essential safety measures were broken.
The fire was blazing both in front and at the back of Summer's room, but when she opened the door, the fire wasn't too intense from one direction.
Summer could have gone downstairs.
