Morning Garden?
Summer Sutton hadn't been back for quite a while either.
Summer Sutton thought for a moment, then drove to her apartment.
Adrian Walyon sat in the back seat, not sleeping, but staring fixedly at her.
His gaze was hazy, clearly drunk, and as he kept staring, a smile unexpectedly tugged at the corner of his mouth.
Summer Sutton was driving, unable to see his expression behind her, her attention focused on the road.
Arriving at her complex, Summer Sutton helped him out of the car and with difficulty, assisted him upstairs.
She closed the door with her hand and temporarily placed Adrian Walyon on the sofa. She went to the kitchen, rummaging as if searching for something.
A moment later, she walked out, grabbed the apartment key, and prepared to leave.
"There's nothing to sober up with at home, I'm going out to buy something." She threw this sentence at him, intending to leave, but Adrian Walyon grabbed her hand.
This action made Summer Sutton pause slightly.
