Lily Winslow, listening nearby, almost jumped up in protest.
Watt Bennet was obviously distracted tonight. At first, he could still exchange a few words with the guests surrounding him.
Later on, he just couldn't be bothered to deal with anyone trying to make small talk, and he strode straight towards Summer Sutton's direction.
When he reached them, Old Master Winslow was just asking Summer Sutton about her thoughts on Alexander Winslow.
"Maid Sutton, what do you think of our Alexander?" he asked with a gentle smile.
Watt's gaze swept coldly in Summer Sutton's direction, his hand gripping the wheelchair's armrest tightly.
He looked at Summer Sutton with a gaze as chilling as ice, as if, should she dare nod and praise Alexander, he would rush over and strangle her.
Summer Sutton knew he was not far from her, but she didn't look at him.
