Midway through the meal, the phone suddenly rang.
Summer Sutton picked it up to have a look, and the name on the screen made her pause slightly.
It's Watt Bennet calling.
After staring blankly for a few seconds, Summer Sutton picked up the phone, "What's up?"
"Where are you?" Watt's two words were concise.
"Eating out," Summer hesitated a bit before speaking truthfully, "with Jimmy Evans."
The other end seemed to be stunned for a few seconds, instantly falling silent.
"Address. Wait in place, I'll come pick you up!" After a long quiet moment, he asked coldly.
"No need, it's fine, I'm heading back soon. No need, no need, I'll just come back myself later, it's very close to the resort." Summer Sutton immediately rejected his proposal, worried about an altercation with Ryan Walyon if he came.
Summer knew what he was worried about, and in case he didn't listen, she added some reassurances, "There are a lot of people here, I've been here all along, don't worry, it's fine."
