She was still wearing the dress from the evening banquet, a long hem was pressed under her, she pulled it out and was just about to get out of bed when she noticed a pair of gray-white cotton slippers placed by the bedside.
The slippers looked quite large, obviously a man's size.
Scarlett probably already guessed where she was.
