Matthew Saxon was taking her to watch a movie at the cinema his family owned, and Scarlett Yates suddenly found it a bit interesting.
Half-jokingly, half-seriously, she said, "Matthew, do you have to pay when you watch a movie at your own cinema?"
Matthew thought for a moment and smiled, "I do."
Scarlett teased him, "How come you're doing so poorly that you have to pay at your own cinema? I thought we could watch a free movie this afternoon."
"Don't you have some sort of lifetime free membership card?"
"Nope."
He glanced at her, his eyes full of amusement, "If you want, I can get you one."
Scarlett sighed again, "Then what privileges do you, as the president of Seymour Group, actually have?"
Matthew's eyes twinkled mischievously, and he laughed, "There's no free movie card, but there are plenty of free hotel room cards. Want to experience that privilege now?"
Scarlett deeply understood what it meant to shoot oneself in the foot.
