"Me?" Stella curled her lips in a self-mocking smile, "I don't have any outstanding suitors, most men don't like someone like me."
Anthony was a bit stunned, as if surprised, raising one eyebrow, "Why?"
Stella reached out to touch her own face, pinched her waist, and mocked herself again, "Because I'm not pretty enough, not attractive and hot-bodied, and my temper is terrible. Tell me, would any man like a woman like this?"
She was only jesting at herself, but Anthony seriously contemplated the matter, his blue eyes fixed intently on her. He stared at her for so long that even Scarlett felt the atmosphere was somewhat strange. Only then did Anthony solemnly say, "Miss Nelson is good."
Stella thought, as a gentleman, he would compliment her a lot to comfort her, but unexpectedly, Anthony's compliment was just one sentence.
But that one sentence felt incredibly sincere to Stella, far more genuine than his previous endless praise.
He said it with great seriousness.
