Maxwell Saxon's face changed slightly, his steps paused, he turned and looked down at her.
Scarlett Yates didn't know where she'd gone wrong with her question.

"Why?" Maxwell Saxon laughed coldly, curling his lip, "Do you really think Matthew Saxon would let me off so easily?"
"Even if he couldn't touch me, he'd still make me pay the price, sending the one I trust most to prison is his way of hitting back at me."
