Matthew Saxon curled his lips, but there wasn't a hint of smile in his eyes; instead, they were filled with chilling coldness. "Is there something wrong with my attitude? If this young lady next to you isn't deaf or mute, why hasn't she said a word for so long?"
"What kind of remark is that," Maxwell Saxon frowned, his face darkening. "Scarlett doesn't want to answer, do you really have to force her to?"
"It's not something that one struggles to talk about, so why can't she answer?" Matthew's icy gaze pierced harshly into Scarlett Yates' pale face. He looked at her with a cold smile and said, "Miss Yates doesn't want to answer because she might be harboring a guilty conscience and therefore doesn't dare to speak?"
"That's enough, Matthew, saying such things is truly rude."
"Rude? Even if I'm rude, it's still better than women who don't even know the meaning of shame."
They actually started arguing...
