Han Xi sat up from the bed, glanced sideways at the roses on the bedside table covered with dew drops, and her smile was as sweet as if it were brushed with honey.
Lu Jinghan walked out of the bathroom, towel-drying his half-damp hair, with only a bath towel wrapped around his muscular body.
"You didn't go to work?"
"Hmm, not going this morning."
Han Xi lifted the quilt and got out of bed, walking barefoot into the bathroom to wash up: "Oh, Jinghan, I want to meet Manman later, so I might not be able to stay home with you."
Han Xi poked her head out halfway, speaking while brushing her teeth, with toothpaste foam at the corner of her mouth.
Lu Jinghan put down the towel in his hand, walked into the bathroom, and hugged Han Xi from behind: "I stayed home on purpose, are you sure you won't keep me company, Mrs. Lu?"
