Han Xi took the slippers from Sister Zhang and put them on: "I got off work early today, I'll go to the supermarket to buy groceries and cook dinner with you."
"How can that be? I'll take care of buying groceries and cooking. Madam, you should rest for a while."
Sister Zhang knew that Han Xi wasn't spoiled like those wealthy wives, but she couldn't let her help with these tasks.
"Sister Zhang, I managed to get off work early, just so I can make dinner for Jing Han."
Han Xi smiled as she hung her shoulder bag on the coat rack above the shoe cabinet: "I'll take a shower first, then I'll head to the supermarket. When I get back, help me cook. I'm afraid I can't manage everything by myself."

Han Xi returned to the room, took a warm shower in the bathroom, changed clothes, and then went downstairs.
