Han Xi smiled faintly as she removed her sterile gown, her voice as calm as water, with a hint of fatigue: "If you have any questions, feel free to ask me anytime. As for having a protégé, I don't think so. I don't seem to be much older than you all."
"You interns really have a wild imagination. Doctor Han is so busy every day, where would she find the time to mentor you?"
The doctor next to them removed his mask and signaled for them to wheel the patient out.
"Remember to observe the patient's postoperative condition. I'm going to rest for a while," Han Xi instructed the nurse before leaving.
"Okay, Doctor Han."
Han Xi changed her clothes and took the elevator back to her office, where she collapsed onto the sofa and fell into a deep sleep.
When she woke up, there was a blanket over her. She looked up to see Lu Jinghan's striking features, his deep-set eyes as profound as the sea.
"What brought you here?" Han Xi sat up from the sofa.
