Lu Jinghan reached out and wrapped Han Xi in his arms: "It's cold outside, let's go in."
"Okay."
Before Housekeeper Li left, he instructed the guards at the door to drive away the three of them, to prevent any trouble when the guests came out later.
Back in the banquet hall, sitting down at the dining table, Lu Jinghan asked a servant to bring a bowl of hot soup for Han Xi: "Have some soup to warm yourself up."
"Where did you two go?" Manman, having eaten enough, put down her utensils and leaned in curiously.
Han Xi took a few sips of the soup and whispered softly: "Just now, Lu Jingchen and his mother came over, insisting on barging in."
"Oh wow, they've already been kicked out of the Lu Family yet still shamelessly forced their way in. Impressive."
Han Xi nodded in agreement and continued eating the food on her plate; she had been too worried about Lu Jinghan earlier to eat properly.
