Fu Bin sat on the couch next to Chu Ci, playing with his phone, speaking leisurely, "You're not really dating that Gu Beichen, are you?"
Chu Ci propped her elbow on the armrest of the sofa, shrugged casually, but didn't seem inclined to answer.
Instead, Manman interjected out of nowhere, "Our Chu Ci doesn't like men."
"I don't like women either."
Chu Ci was almost amused to the point of anger by Manman's thoughtless comment.
Manman realized her slip and patted her forehead, "Not that she doesn't like men, but she doesn't need them."
"Looks like Chu Ci has been deeply hurt by men," Qin Mi joked.
Chu Ci smiled gently but didn't say anything.
After leaving the mall, Fu Bin glanced at his watch, "It's almost noon. I'll treat everyone to lunch; there's a nice restaurant nearby."
"But we already planned to have hot pot, or you and Qin Mi can go, and we'll arrange another day,"
Han Xi really wanted to eat hot pot, so she couldn't help but turn down Fu Bin's suggestion.
