"I'm not you." Koa Jackson raised his hand to rub her hair, chuckling softly.

Before she could come up with a result, the phone rang abruptly again.
It stopped quickly; it was a text message.
Mia Ginger reached down for her jeans on the floor, pulled out her phone, and glanced at it. The message was from Olivia Williams.
"Mia, we're home. Goodnight."
Mia Ginger replied, "Okay, got it. Rest early, okay?"
Olivia Williams smiled at the text, didn't reply again, put away her phone, and dragged her suitcase into the second bedroom.
