She didn't mention living off-campus, afraid that it might worry Aurora Cooper.
The mother and daughter chatted a bit, and then Aurora wistfully asked, "Have you called your dad in the past few days?"
"Um." Mia Ginger was caught off guard and mumbled, "I forgot."
Aurora chuckled softly and reminded her, "He was complaining to me on the phone yesterday, saying his daughter doesn't care about him at all, not even a call in days."
"I thought he was busy with work." Mia laughed.
"Even a busy man has time for his daughter's call." Aurora chided gently.
"Alright, I'll give him a call."
"Okay."
Aurora hung up, and Mia called Aiden Jiang.
Father and daughter chatted on the phone for a while, then Mia suddenly thought of Old Master Jackson and asked, "Dad, do you have Grandpa Jackson's phone number?"
"Why?" Aiden asked, "I do."
"Then please send it to my phone later. I want to give him a call to say hi." Mia smiled faintly.
"Got it."
