Sister Lilian?
Koa Jackson glanced at Mia Ginger, then at Lilian Jackson, and said calmly, "You didn't have to go to such trouble."
"It's the right thing to do." Lilian shrugged, looking sincere. "I couldn't come back for your wedding, so bringing a gift is the least I could do. It's a token of my good intentions, remember to wear it."
Koa Jackson: "..."
Mia saw the confusion on his face and explained, "Sister Mia gave us matching couple watches."
"Is that so?" Koa nodded, "Thank you."
His demeanor clearly showed he didn't want to talk much.
Mia felt that his attitude towards Lilian was indeed a bit cold, and she felt a little embarrassed, forcing a smile.
Lilian, however, seemed unfazed and said directly, having given the gifts, "I'll head back now. It's been a while since I've been back, and I need to spend some time talking to my dad. I'm so tired, I just slept since I got back."
"Goodbye, Sister Lilian."
"Mm."
Koa and Mia escorted her out of the study.
