Koa Jackson was silent.
She continued, "After Mia lost her memory, she seems to be more lively and cheerful, not as stubborn as before. She's quite likable now."
"What exactly are you trying to say?" Koa asked her.
Lilian Jackson was momentarily stunned, then gave a bitter smile, "Actually, it's quite embarrassing, a bit awkward to say. I just wanted to apologize for that time before. I shouldn't have investigated Mia, let alone questioned or blamed her, and caused such a scene. I originally didn't want her to avoid it, but she forgot about it, and you haven't mentioned it either, right? You don't want her to remember, do you? So I can only apologize to you. She's doing well now, I hope you two are happy, really."
Her words were sincere and earnest, and Koa's expression softened a bit.
