Koa Jackson held her as he walked toward the big bed.
Mia Ginger pursed her lips and muttered, "So she likes you."
Koa Jackson didn't respond.
He was reflecting, thinking how strange he had been all day.
Purely because the girl in his arms had driven him to lose his mind, instinctively, he looked down at Mia Ginger.
Mia Ginger was staring back at him, complaining, "Why didn't you say something from the start? I got pretty close to her, and just thinking about it makes me sick. She even took me to a traditional Chinese doctor—who knows what she was planning!"
"There's nothing to say," Koa Jackson placed her on the bed and casually asked, "What did you talk about with Grandpa downstairs?"
"Hmm," Mia Ginger kicked off her shoes and turned to crawl toward the head of the bed, "Nothing much. He just asked about Louis Cox, and I said he was quite nice, and that was it."
"He's quite nice." Koa Jackson said while undressing, "Do you want him to be with Marianne?"
